electrocuted as a result of putting on earbuds while sleeping when her
phone is charging was circulated on the internet.
Gabrielle Samuels was listening to music with her iPhone 6 Plus via earpiece while the phone was charging, an according to findings from official reports, that the iPhone's charger failed to safely conduct electricity from the outlet to the device.

Though investigation carried out reveals that it was not the iPhone 6 Plus that cause the electrical flow but the unofficial licensed Apple Charger that contributed to the malfunctioning of the device.
