Since leaving the BBNaija house, the ex-female housemates of the
2018 edition of the show have been battling to maintain their relevance,
outshine one another and stay out of controversy.Most of them haven’t succeeded in doing so.
Participating in a reality television is like getting a tattoo. It can’t be undone and while it may be a reflection of a certain period in a person’s life, it will be part of them no matter what.
The Khloe factor
Abiri Busayo a.k.a Khloe of BBNaija is no doubt one of the most misconstrued and misinterpreted BBNaija 2018 housemates.
Weeks after BBNaija came to an end; the svelte and blunt damsel has been embroiled in one backlash or the other. Her misguided utterances and reactions often fall in their wrong direction.
From being sad that Miracle won to vowing that she was going to deal with Cee-C ,her unconventional sense of fashion and her frequent appearance on Instablog9ja, Khloe has been used as the butt of several jokes on social media. Her life outside the BBNaija house has been a bitter sweet experience.
“Coming out of the house, I realized that other housemates saw me as a threat to them and they tried to pull me down. I feel like people were intentionally doing certain things to frustrate me”, Cee-c said in an interview with Media Room Hub.
Immediately Cee-C got to the Muritala Muhammed International Airport she realized that her actions in the BBNaija house has consequences. A rowdy mob booed and slammed the car which came to pick her at the airport.They reportedly insulted her, banged the doors to her car before security operatives intervened.
Her interactions with fans of BBNaija hasn’t be totally smooth as most of them intentionally get on her nerve knowing that she has a low anger threshold.
Bambam strives to maintain her ‘Church girl’ image
Though ex Big Brother Naija housemate, Oluwabamike Olawumi (Bambam), secured a role in new Nollywoood movie ‘Foreigner’s God’, many won’t forget in a hurry the viral sex tape she did with her BBNaija lover, Teddy A. She has been struggling to create a brand new reputation for herself outside the BBNaija house.
According to her:” So far, anyone that has a victory story has a process, and I will go through it, I will just deal with it for what it is. What took place in the house already happened, That is my story and I am sticking to it, I won’t let it get to me cause it is just a process.”
Ifu Ennada and the ‘One night stand’ allegation
Former BBNaija 2018 housemate, Ifu Ennada stirred the hornet’s nest when she said she helped CDQ while he was an upcoming artiste. This did not go right with CDQ who took to Instagram to describe Ifu as a one-night stand. Though the issue has been resolved, but Ifu continues to be under fire for some of her actions after BBNaija.
Days after Miracle got back to Nigeria and she went to pay him a visit, she was trolled on social media for being a ‘Famzer’
Nina and the pressure of fame
The 22 year old damsel is yet to grasp the intricacies of being a reality TV show star. Her exposure to the allure of glamour made her decline going on air as a result of her poor makeup. Nina who was recently gifted a car by Toyin Lawani reacts to every social media criticism . The latest is an interview that didn’t go down with her conducted by TheNet TV.
In her reaction, she said:” This is crazy,from turning my colour to black with your editing and typing rubbish”
