According to reports, the deceased was laid to rest in Agboye village, Oyo state where he is originally from on September 8. Many fans were sad upon hearing the loss of the versatile actor and poet but said goodbye to the departed.
Many dignitaries including Governor of Oyo state Ajimobi, retired Archbishop Ayo Ladigbolu, traditional leaders, fellow actors were all present to bid the worthy ambassador of Yoruba race farewell.
Late Faleti touched every young man and woman of the Yoruba ethnicity with his work of translating the Nigerian national anthem to Yoruba. May his soul rest in peace.
