“Breaking News: The photos are disturbing! Viewers Discretion is required.
“A Car Battery thieve was caught and burnt yo ashes this morning at Yellow Duke. A resident who reported the incident this morning said that the young man has gone out to steal batteries from parked cars.
“However, it has not been confirmed that whether the young man was caught red handed.
“This incident will now raise the killing by jungle justice to about 9 in the month of February alone. How a once peaceful State is gradually becoming a hot bed of criminal activities has kept citizens and residents in Calabar at awe. It is more worrying that residents do not have confidence in the police force again.
“It is sad. We must not burn criminals. Let us trust in the police force. Let us also use the whistle-blowing arrangement of the State government to report criminals and their activities.”
