Late Peace Udoh was among 60 people who perished when the roof of the Reigners Bible Church International in Uyo, Akwa Ibom collapsed. The church was still under construction and workers had been rushing to finish it in time for a ceremony to ordain founder,
Apostle Akan Weeks as a bishop.
Hundreds of people, including Governor Udom Emmanul were inside when metal girders crashed onto worshippers and the corrugated iron roof caved in.

Miss Udoh, until her death was a Linguistics student at the University of Uyo. She was serving as an usher at the church.
