IT MUST STOP
ReplyDeleteHuman beings are the greatest thing God created. It is the spirit of human devaluation for us to treat human beings the way even animals should not be treated all because we claimed that they committed one offence or the other. Statistics shows that over the last one month, close to 10 lives had been taken in the wicked act called Jungle Justice.
My heart was grieved when I read about one of these events that involved a 7years old boy burnt because he stole gari. Haaaa! To mean anybody that per take in jungle justice is the original criminal.
Yes the victim committed one offence or the other, he stole, he raped she kidnapped etc, but it takes someone that is heartless to treat them in such manner.
The bad thing about this act is that many of the victims are innocent, yet they are naked, beaten and burnt because they were not given the privilege to defend themselves.
Another thing that makes God angry about this act is that, the victims are not giving the opportunity to repent. We have heard of criminals that was jailed and later comes out to become great evangelist for God.
Imagine if God decided to be treating us this way when ever we sin, how many will remain on earth.
I am not encouraging criminality, but we cannot use criminal act to solve criminal act. To naked a human being (especially women) on the street, beat them and burn them is a Spirit of Human Devaluation
