There are indications that banker, Ronke Shonde who was allegedly killed by her husband, Lekan Shonde in Lagos state, saw it coming.
Ronke was beaten to death by her husband last week Thursday in their apartment at Tiemo Crescent, off Awori Street in Egbeda area of the state.Before her death, Vanguard reports that the deceased had confided in one of her friends about her husband’s sudden change of attitude. She expressed fear for her life.
According to the confidant who refused to disclose the major cause of the couple’s quarrel, Lekan had an overbearing attitude.
The confidant said, “The late banker had complained of being beaten by her husband last month, during an argument.
“I am scared for my life,” the confidant quoted Ronke as saying.
