A man who had walked into a hospital to complain about a stomach ache
was shocked to finally realise what was found to be responsible for his
pains…
The rat pictured above was allegedly removed from a patient’s body at
Royal Cross Methodist Hospital, Ugwueke in Abia State on Thursday April
14.
According to Ohuabunwa Henry Kanu, who works at the hospital, the
patient arrived the hospital with a protruded tommy at the hospital on
Monday and the operation was carried out by one Dr. Hans Van den Corput
on Thursday.Read what he wrote below;
“This rat was removed from a patient in our hospital this afternoon. And the patient is a man, with a protruded tommy that arrived Royal Cross Methodist Hospital, Ugwueke on Monday. The operation was carried out by Dr. Hans Van den Corput today 14th April, 2016 at Royal Cross Hospital”
